In 1999, Rebecca Pokluda had a vision of bringing together a group of experienced and passionate Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapists (OT, PT, ST) dedicated to family-centered, individualized care. Since its inception, KidWorks committed to creating solutions that allow each child to create his/her own success in a fun, challenging, and safe environment. Building Independence.

The team at KidWorks Therapy Services help children to develop their underlying skills necessary for learning and performing specific tasks as well as address social and behavioral skills. This work goes further in building a child’s self-concept and confidence. In helping children develop their basic sensory awareness and motor skills, they find their independence to grow as individuals.   • Poor coordination
  • Decreased balance (“clumsiness”)

  • Behavioral challenges or social skill issues
  • Decreased attention or ability to participate in age appropriate activities
  • Lowered self-esteem and self-concept
  • Diminished visual skills including visual perceptual skills and ocular motor skills
  • Difficulties with feeding, is a picky eater or a messy eater

About Rebecca

Rebecca Pokluda, MOTR/L, Clinic Director and Owner of KidWorks Therapy Services. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas with several specialty certifications in pediatrics.  She holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University.
