Matt Goff serves as the Chief Investment Advisor for Ark Financial and as a personal advisor to many of the firm’s valued clients. In guiding the investment strategy, Matt follows firm foundational principles that have profited disciplined investors through the ages. He also believes we live in an era of unprecedented financial innovation, emerging risks, and accelerating complexity. Matt dives deep into current market dynamics, portfolio construction, and the world of asset management to identify the best opportunities to help our clients build and protect their wealth. As a personal advisor, Matt understands that clients demand much more than investment advice.
He emphasizes authentic planning that must be deeply personal and customized incorporating lifelong cash flow projections, risk management tactics, tax efficiencies, health risks, and even your most cherished relationships. A full-time advisor since 2008, Matt previously worked with Nylife Securities, and as a founding partner in Camino Real Financial Strategies. He was a 5 Star Advisor in Texas Monthly Magazine four consecutive years and a seven-time member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Prior work included eleven years with Siemens as a Global Account Manager serving Wall Street firms and multi-national banks and two years working as a broadcast journalist. Matt holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Thunderbird, the number one ranked international business program in the US.
Matt is married and has two kids in high school. Away from work, Matt is the head coach and founder of the Waterloo Warriors soccer team. He enjoys boating, playing guitar, and traveling. His family has been profoundly influenced by travel to Zambia working with orphans and remain involved in that work.
